The challenge

Leading international dispenser supplier RAMPF Production Systems concluded that in order to provide the highest quality service possible, it would need to offer a digital, customer centric communication portal to its customers. Doing so would require the assistance of a cloud-based Internet of Things (IoT) software designed for customer interaction and feedback for data processing as well as enhanced service and self-service functionalities. To provide this, RAMPF opted for the EquipmentCloud® digital service solution from S&T AG acquired company Kontron AIS.

The EquipmentCloud® customer portal is completely tailored to the customer needs and guarantees the worldwide availability of information and documentation. Furthermore, the solution provides a variety of new branding functionalities, including individualization through images and logos, colour tones, fonts, self-registration and management functions for new users, privacy policies, email templates, as well as feedback functionality and domain redirection.

The result

Since the introduction of S&T’s specially tailored solution, more than 50% of the companies excel lists have been replaced by the EquipmentCloud® IoT service portal, and more than two-thirds of RAMPF customers are already actively using the service portal worldwide. Providing the organization with a suitable IoT customer communication service reaped significant competitive advantages for the manufacturer, from increased customer loyalty through improved service, to cross-functional time savings, to increases in revenue.
